Questions
What stays free?
Everything public: the maps, every place, recipient and agency page, rankings, integrity signals, grants, subawards, exclusions and lobbying data, the public API with its anonymous limits. A free account adds a watchlist, a few alerts with a weekly email, Ask Analisa and the other AI features, and an MCP key.
Do paid plans see different data?
No. Every plan sees the same public facts, from public sources (USAspending.gov, SAM.gov, the Senate and House lobbying disclosures, the FEC, the Census Bureau and others), each shown with its source, vintage and period. Plans pay for workflow: alerts, monitoring, screening, exports, reports and keyed API access.
How do I cancel?
Any time, from Billing & team → Manage billing (Stripe's customer portal). Your plan stays on until the end of the period you paid for, then you return to the free plan; your saved items are kept.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, within 14 days. Write to [email protected] within 14 days of your first payment for a plan, or of a yearly renewal, and we refund it in full, no reason needed. See the Terms of Service for the details.
What about taxes?
Prices are in US dollars and exclude taxes. Where sales tax or VAT applies, Stripe calculates it at checkout from your billing address, and your invoice shows it.
How do team seats work?
Team is billed per seat. The team's owners and admins invite people by email and can add or remove seats at any time; Stripe prorates the change on the next invoice.
Who handles payments?
Stripe. Checkout, invoices and payment methods live at Stripe: card details never reach our servers. We keep only which plan you hold and its status.
What if a payment fails?
Stripe retries it and emails you. Your plan stays on for a short grace period while you update your payment method.
